This flow is a little bit out of the ordinary, but basically, you want to give a reason to have someone come back and purchase. We’re going to create a “reason,” and that reason is an annual thank you for being a subscriber. This way, every year, you get someone to come back and buy something. A nice discount just for staying subscribed. Here’s how to do this.
The Setup Requirements
- Shopify Integration
- 1 Email (or more if you’d like)
Configuring the Flow “Triggers and Filters”
Click “Create Flow”
Name the flow, in this case “Annual Thank You,” then click “Create Flow”
Click “Date Property”
Click the down arrow next to “Choose property…”
Click the bubble next to “On person’s Created”
Click “Email” and drag it to the dot under the trigger you just created.
Click “Save & Exit”
Here’s how this works – the date the person is created is the date that the person subscribed. This just runs on the date that the person was created and sends an email with a thank you and preferably with a discount code thanking the person for being subscribed for a whole year.
