How to Get a Browser to View Products

Depending on the size of your catalog, you may have a really big collections where people browse, but never make it to an actual product. This flow is to help push those people to an actual product.

The Setup Requirements

  • Klaviyo
  • Shopify Integration
  • 1 Email (or more if you’d like)

Configuring the Flow “Triggers and Filters”

Click “Lists & Segments”

Click "Lists & Segments"
Click “Lists & Segments”

Click on “Create List / Segment”

Name the segment, in this case, “No Product View – Last 30 Days” then “What someone has done (or not done)” has “Active on site” “at least once” “in the last” “30” “days” then click “AND”

Then “What someone has done (or not done)” has “Viewed Product” “zero times” “in the last” “30” “days”, then click “Create Segment”

Click “Flows” on the left hand side, then click “Create Flow”

Name the flow, in this case, “Browse to Product,” then click “Create Flow”

Click on the segment you just created, in this case, “No Product View – Last 30 Days”

Click and drag “Email” to the dot under the Trigger you just created.

Here’s how this works. The first part of the flow checks if someone has been active on the site, then the second part of the flow checks if they haven’t viewed a product. If that’s the case, then that person is placed in the segment that was first created. When that person enters that segment, the email is sent to that person. Ideally, for the email, you’d want to send your top selling products to encourage the person to click through.
