How to Bump a Sale

Getting new customers is great, but you don’t want to just get customers, you want to be profitable! Setting up this automated flow can help you get there. It’s actually pretty simple, new customers simply get an extra offer.

The Setup Requirements

  • Klaviyo
  • Shopify Integration
  • 1 Email (or more if you’d like)

Configuring the Flow “Triggers and Filters”

Click “Flows”

Fill in with Person has “Placed Order” “equals” “1” “over all time” then click “Save”

Click “Email” and drag to the dot under the trigger you just created.

Here’s the way this works, it checks if a customer placed an order if that’s the only order ever made. If so, then this send an additional email. Inside of that email you should create an additional offer for a high margin product, you may also want to include a filter that excludes the high margin product you would be offering. Let’s say it’s a wallet, if that’s the case, you’d want to exclude all wallet purchasers in the filter flow. The hope is that with the extra offer, you can convert every purchaser from a single purchaser to a multi-item purchaser.
